Today was going to be a unique day for maid marian as Mistress Adira required me to be at Her premises at 4.00pm. The uniqueness was that Mistress would not be there when i arrived and i would be let in by Her personal slave and a list of my tasks would be waiting for me. Mistress was hoping to arrive home around 5.30pm!! Well this was going to be an interesting experience. i just wondered what my list of tasks would be and what a responsibility Mistress was affording me in giving me tasks to do unsupervised!! This was going to be a special day in the development and learning for maid marian!

i arrived at 4.00pm precisely as instructed and i was greeted and after a short discussion i was advised where i could find my list of tasks to do!! i was keen to see my list of tasks. What would Mistress require me to do? i could not wait to read my list and find the answer to my biggest question: how many tasks would Mistress give me? The answer was 8! Phew that was not too bad Mistress! i decided not to worry too much about my tasks. i had the pleasure of getting dressed in my maid's uniform to look forward to and in a matter of seconds i was slipping on my bra, petticoat and pantyhose. i was ready some 10 minutes later and i returned to check the list of tasks i had to do - task number 1 was vacuuming!!

i was feeling very relaxed as i commenced working when within a few minutes i was in a state of panic! Somehow i managed to put the heel of one foot into the pantyhose of my other ankle and i had torn a small but very visible hole in my left leg!! Oh shit what would Mistress say when She saw my laddered pantyhose? i have been under very strict instructions previously that i am never allowed to wear pantyhose with holes in them! There was nothing i could do. i had no spare pantyhose to wear and i just had to hope Mistress would believe me that my pantyhose did not have any holes in them when i arrived but i was not confident Mistress would necessarily believe me!!!

i completed the vacuuming and returned back to see what was next on my list. A lovely task of cleaning the toilet. At least Mistress was getting the more disgusting jobs out of the way first. What a kind and considerate Mistress i have Mistress! Unfortunately for me the toilet was not in a pleasant state but it was no point worrying about that as i just had to bite the bullet and get on with my chosen task! Surely my next task would not be any worse than that i thought to myself so it was back to my list and next task was OK - cleaning the mirror and vanity unit in the bathroom! Mistress was even looking after Her maid, She had left the Windex out for me!!!

Time was now getting on it was after 5.00pm and i had only completed 3 of my 8 tasks. i hope Mistress was not going to be too disappointed if i had not finished all of my tasks by the time She arrived home! Next task was enjoyable, collecting and folding the laundry and not much to do, just a few towels and shirts and it was time to do the dishes! i was feeling a little bit more comfortable now. i thought Mistress would be happy with my efforts as i had completed at least more than 50% of my tasks by the time She would arrive home now and if i could complete the dishes before Mistress arrived home, Mistress would then be able to cook dinner at Her pleasure!

i managed to complete the dishes before Mistress arrived home although to be fair, Mistress did not arrive home till around 5.45pm and i was busy cleaning the microwave when Mistress did arrive home! i am glad that i do not use my microwave much as they seem to get very dirty and Mistress' microwave was no exception. The strong smell of vanilla was filling my nostrils!! my final task before Dinner was cleaning the rubbish bin. Oh well, some jobs are just jobs that a maid has to do and Mistress' rubbish bin was sparkling a few minutes later!

Mistress had commenced cooking dinner and i was advised that i could complete the last task on my list after dinner - dusting. Before dinner Mistress had a special task, i could clean the upholstery on a lounge chair! What a bonus for me - an additional task. i wondered if there was anymore to come after dinner! Mistress cooked a marvelous meal - sausages and salad. What a treat for maid marian to have dinner with Mistress Adira at the dinner table instead of the kitchen but there was no time to sit back and enjoy it as i now had the dinner dishes to wash and dusting to do!! i completed my second lot of dishes for the afternoon and finally set about dusting with O/our new duster. The new duster made my task easy and just before 7.30pm i had finished all of my tasks. What a great afternoon for me: a lovely dinner cooked by Mistress Adira and 3 hours of cleaning. It does not get any better than this for a maid Mistress. Or does it Mistress?
