Yesterday was the start of a very exciting and busy week for me as Mistress Adira required Her maid to do some cleaning before W/we went to a BBQ in the late afternoon! Mistress Adira was feeling in a very generous mood on Saturday - she decided that i could choose which maid's uniform i would wear but that whichever uniform i chose, i would also be wearing it on Tuesday evening as well! The only thing Mistress Adira did require from me was that i must bring both my 3" and 4" heels!! Sounds like an interesting and fun assignment for me. Would i choose my beautiful pink uniform, my tight fitting hobble skirt uniform, my frilly lacy black uniform or my old elastic waist uniform? Such a dilemma for me - i am not used to making decisions Mistress!!

i eventually decided to wear my frilly, lacy black uniform and silk glass lace pinafore. my bag was all packed and i arrived at 12.30pm on the dot!! Time was important so there was little time to waste as Mistress sent me to my room to get changed when disaster struck!!! As i unpacked my bag i could not believe what i had done. Holy shit, i had not packed a petticoat!! What to do? i had no idea. Would i tell Mistress that i had forgotten part of my uniform? Would i hope that Mistress would not realize that i was not wearing a petticoat? A maid should never panic and then i formulated a master stroke (well in my humble opinion it was Mistress), i remembered Mistress had given me the choice as to what i would wear today. If Mistress wanted to know where my petticoat was, i would explain to Mistress that i had chosen to wear a uniform without a petticoat for a change. After all, that was the only excuse i had Mistress!

As i got dressed and slipped on my uniform without my petticoat, i looked so slim. It was the first time that i have ever worn a maid's uniform without a petticoat and i quite liked my new look Mistress! However it did not matter how much i liked it, the only important thing was: would Mistress Adira like it? i stood before Mistress to get zipped up, my heart beating faster. Would Mistress notice that i was not wearing a petticoat? And if yes, what would happen? Mistress fastened my zipper and pinafore with not a single word about where my petticoat was. Either Mistress did not notice (which i sincerely doubt as nothing escapes the eagle eye of Mistress Adira), or perhaps, just perhaps Mistress was allowing me not to wear a petticoat as part of my choice of my uniform!!

There was no time to dwell on my mistake now, it was now time for work and laundry was my first task: collecting the laundry from outside, folding the laundry and then hang out some wet laundry! i enjoy doing laundry and in no time at all i had collected and folded the dry laundry and now i had to remember the rules for hanging wet laundry! i recited over and over in my head: shake each item vigorously before hanging, hang neatly and peg firmly! i was pleased that i was able to recall all the additional rules for socks and underwear. Yes, luckily for me i had hanging laundry down pat. Phew Mistress! After laundry it was time to do some sweeping, a task that i do not necessarily enjoy too much Mistress but i am aware that i cannot just choose to do tasks that i enjoy Mistress and so it was head down and bottom out Mistress, as the broom moved in short sharp strokes!

After completing the laundry and sweeping, Mistress had a task that i was expecting - cleaning the shower, basin and bathroom! It is always a challenge to clean the bathroom where there is always dirt, scum and grime to remove from the strangest places. There are no shortcuts to be taken when cleaning the bathroom and it really comes down to being organized to get the job done quickly and efficiently! It can take quite a long time to do a good job cleaning the bathroom and it take me more than an hour before i am finally happy with the state of the bathroom and shower!

Mistress was still handing out tasks in rapid succession: washing dishes was next for me. It was already 2.30pm and there was still plenty of work to do! There were plenty of dishes to do and it was 3.00pm by the time i had finished and as it was getting close to the time W/we would have to leave to go to the BBQ, i wondered if my cleaning was finished for the week! Mistress did a quick look around and announced that is all i would be doing today but on Tuesday evening i would be required to do cleaning at Her dungeon and on Wednesday evening i could finish the rest of my cleaning from today: cleaning the stove top and vacuuming!! "Yes Mistress, thank You Mistress" i said with a smile on my face. What a great week lies ahead for me being required for cleaning duties again on Tuesday and Wednesday evening. i also realized just what a lucky maid i was to have failed to bring my petticoat on the only day where i have been allowed to choose what i could wear!!!
