Mistress Adira required maid marian for some mid week cleaning duties last night. This is 2 weeks in a row Mistress for mid week cleaning which i am very excited about Mistress - the more nights the better for me Mistress! It was to be a mixed start to my evening. Originally i was required at 7.15pm but due to severe thunderstorms in the afternoon, the trains were thrown into chaos and i was delayed more than 30 minutes in getting home and i was very pleased when Mistress Adira agreed to change my arrival time to 8.00pm. This not only meant that i was still being permitted to do some cleaning (i feared that Mistress may postpone my cleaning duties which would have been quite understandable but very disappointing for me) but i was being given every opportunity to prepare myself for my cleaning duties. Thank You Mistress for being so kind and understanding of my predicament Mistress.

After i arrived at 8.00pm there was no time for chatter, i had some work to do so it was straight off to my changing room to get dressed. i wore my black maid's uniform with short white apron and 4" heels. Mistress was waiting for me once i was dressed and my first task was washing dishes. Mistress Adira also required Her stove top to be cleaned as well! There were quite a few dishes to wash including a few pots to scrub and after completing the dishes i turned my attention to cleaning the stove top! The easiest approach was to remove all the knobs and soak them in the dish water and that made the stove top easier to clean!

Whilst i was cleaning the stove top i was surprised just how comfortable my shoes were feeling. i do not want to get too carried away Mistress but just maybe Your maid has now become used to wearing 4" heels Mistress. If that is the case Your maid will be very pleased as wearing heels for a long time is a must for a maid! my next task was collecting the laundry. Unfortunately for me Mistress Adira had hung the wet white laundry before my rescheduled arrival so i just had laundry to collect and fold tonight! Whilst collecting the laundry i was stretching over the trailer, i was concerned about my stockings as there are many sharp edges on the trailer and i did not want to put a hole in my stockings! i thought i had managed to avoid a disaster so headed back inside with a full laundry basket!

After completing the folding of the laundry Mistress Adira enquired as to how i was feeling. "Very well Mistress" i replied. "Excellent" said Mistress Adira, "because I have enough cleaning for you to do for about 5 hours". my heart began to race...was Mistress being serious? Would i really be working to 1.00am cleaning or was Mistress just messing with my mind? Deep down i knew Mistress was only messing with my mind but i could always hope Mistress!! Mistress Adira was ready to give me my next task when my shock was about to happen: "maid marian what happened to your knee?" said Mistress Adira. Knee? What are You talking about Mistress? There was nothing wrong with my knee, i was feeling fine Mistress. Then i glanced down at my knees and i was aghast, i had one huge hole in my stocking and a ladder running all the way up to my thigh! Oh no Mistress, i could not believe it. How embarrassing Mistress. i was very surprised Mistress. i thought i had been so careful Mistress when collecting the laundry over the trailer Mistress but obviously i had not been careful enough Mistress. Worst of all Mistress, one of my beautiful stockings is now headed for the rubbish bin Mistress, very sad Mistress!

my next task was to do the vacuuming except Mistress had a twist for my task this evening. Normally i start my vacuuming from the back of the house and finish up with the lounge room but tonight Mistress wanted me to start in the lounge room first and then work my way backwards! Mistress was trying to confuse me and it worked Mistress. i felt totally uncomfortable Mistress, everything was back to front Mistress! After i cleaned the lounge room and worked my way backwards i was nearly finished when i saw something out of the corner of my eye - a big black object floating down from the top of the book case and landing softly on a white folder on the bottom shelf and disappearing inside the book!

What was the big black floating object Mistress? It could only have been one thing Mistress - a big black spider Mistress! i had a quick look in the folder but could not see the "spider" i was very concerned about such a big "spider" crawling around in Mistress Adira's bookcase so i immediately reported my finding to Mistress! Mistress Adira had the perfect response, Her 24/7 slave could find the "spider"! i was happy about that, obviously it was not a job for a girl Mistress! Mistress Adira's 24/7 conducted a thorough search of the folder and after being unable to find the "spider", he burst out laughing and said: "i know where your spider is maid marian" and pointed in the direction of a black feather sitting on the bottom of the book shelf! Phew, what a relief that feather was indeed my "spider". Although i felt a bit silly i was happy that it was not a big black spider Mistress as spiders and Your maid do not get on well together Mistress! Mistress Adira was able to joke about "maid marian's spider" for the next few minutes!

After the "spider" incident, i completed my vacuuming and my night of cleaning duties was now finished and the time was after 10.15pm. i had been cleaning for 2 hours and not quite the 5 hours Mistress Adira had tried to imply would happen Mistress. Mistress has advised that on the weekend i will be cleaning the toilet, shower and bathroom so perhaps Mistress Adira was serious after all about having 5 hours of cleaning last night.
