A rare treat for me yesterday doing cleaning duties for Mistress Adira on a Monday! Mistress required me to wear my pink uniform for the 1st time for quite a while and that means brown stockings as well! Mistress Adira laced my corset and tied my apron and then it was time to go to work! Mistress decided that i could spend some time in the kitchen - doing the dishes was my first task. What, no laundry to fold today Mistress?

After completing the dishes Mistress had that "cheeky smile" on Her face as She instructed me to follow Her back into the kitchen where i was handed a chamois. What was Mistress Adira planning for me? Mistress Adira hustled off in the direction of Her toilet and i was struggling to keep up as Mistress explained exactly what my next task would be! Mistress had such a perfect task in mind for Her maid - to scrub the inside of the toilet door frame, the skirting board around the toilet, the toilet cistern, the toilet bowl outside and finally inside the toilet bowl!! No wonder Mistress was smiling as i began to clean the inside edges of the door frame. What a mess it was Mistress. No wonder You had decided it was in desperate need of a clean and i soon realized it was not going to be a job to be done quickly! It was going take time, effort and concentration to do a good job but i enjoy doing the finicky cleaning tasks and i was a very satisfied maid after i finished the door frame and moved onto the skirting board!

After cleaning the skirting board i went to clean my chamois before starting on the toilet but when i returned the door was closed - the toilet was in use so i had to wait until the toilet was free and then i could get back to work. Nothing more humiliating than cleaning a recently used toilet Mistress! After about 30 minutes the toilet was sparkling and i was standing before Mistress Adira awaiting my next task. Mistress decided an inspection of the toilet was in order before i was able to be given my new task! Mistress Adira was more than happy with the state of Her toilet and so my next task was more intimate cleaning of the bathroom, cleaning the door frame, the door, the towel holder on the door and then finally the hand basin and mirror!

Luckily for me i was able to remove the towel holder from the door which made my task so much easier and then i worked away at the door paying particular attention to the door handle and then it was onto the basin and mirror! i was having a very enjoyable and successful cleaning session and now it was time for my next task - vacuuming! Some cleaning tasks whilst important are fairly mundane and vacuuming is just one of those tasks for a well trained maid. my time was coming to an end or would Mistress Adira have one more task for me to do before being dismissed?

Luckily for me Mistress did have one more task for me to do: replacing the silverfish baits in the wardrobes and cupboards! Previously i have never been able to find all the old silverfish baits and have had to seek the assistance of Mistress for the correct placement of the last few but today everything was just perfect, i managed to find all 24 old baits and gleefully replaced every one of them! my cleaning duties had now come to an end. Another fabulous 3 hours had passed so quickly and once again Mistress Adira had managed to find a couple of wonderful new tasks so suited for Her maid to do!
